The Heart of Eden was a very powerful Piece of Eden. The user wore it on their chest and it pulsated waves of energy through their body, making light come out of their eyes. After a fey moments of "charging" the user began to float in the air then a sphere of energy was generated by the Heart. At this point the user could use a wide variety of powers, telepathy, telekesis, shooting beams of energy from their hands and even teleportation. Unfortunately the artifact drew it's power from the host's life force, so they had to find someone to harvest for life energy or they'd be destroyed. After prolonged exposure a person would begin to deteriorate until their body was no more. At that point their soul was absorbed by the relic and they were forced to be imprisoned there for all eternity.
